Jamphibious
Hello! I'm Jordan, a composer/musician based in Canada. I have a particular interest in music for video games, while also producing a variety of arrangements and original works. I have a fondness for frogs which I often feature in my music, album art and games!
For this track, I used a Roland Sound Canvas and wanted to bring a frantic energy with a dose of silliness. Throughout the song there is a whistle sound I used to mimic the sound of a coqui call. I imagine this piece playing as a little frog performs a three-part circus act, increasing in intensity with death defying tricks.
Lily Pad Festival
Dionté George
Dionté George is a saxophonist, composer, and producer who is always trying to understand and learn more about music and the different communities it has created. Their main goal is to aid and create stories through cool sound textures through either catchy rhythm, chill vibes and much more!
Cirque de Frog-leil
Hello! My name is TheYungNat, but you can call me Nat! I am a trumpet player from the Bay Area who loves frogs and listening to/making music. I also like to stream games with my lil froggy themed v-tuber when I have some free time! I have experience teaching both elementary and middle school band, so if you ever want some music ed advice, I'm happy to help!
The circus theme was actually very hard for me to come up with! I was racking my brain over what to do, and asked one of my fellow musician friends what they thought came to mind with frogs and circuses. She said "I don't know, a waltz?" And so, that's what I decided to run with. I also have some experience with jazz music, so I opted for a jazzy froggy waltz with some French influence to it.It's the accordion, I swear. I blame Clair Obscur and Professor Layton for that.
A Frolic at the Froggy Faire
Jamphibious
For my 2nd song "A Frolic at the Froggy Faire", I decided to mellow things out, and also feature a few live recordings of guitar and hand percussion (including a frog-shaped guiro!). I wanted this song to evoke a happy jaunt through a carnival or circus fairground, checking out various stalls, shops, and games - and just generally having a lovely time.
